His-tag Protein Rapid Detect Kit (Competitive method) employs the principle of colloidal gold immunochromatography to rapidly and qualitatively detect His-tagged proteins in cell culture supernatants, cell/bacterial lysates or protein purification. The main structure consists of a sample pad, a gold conjugate pad, a chromatography membrane, an absorbent paper and a backplate. On the chromatographic membrane, the secondary antibody that can bind to the gold-labeled antibody is immobilized on the quality control line (C line), the His-tagged protein is immobilized on the detection line (T line), and the colloidal gold-labeled anti-His-Tag monoclonal antibody is immobilized on the gold conjugate pad.

This product is used for the rapid qualitative detection of His-tagged proteins in cell culture supernatants, cell/bacterial lysates or after protein purification.
