Smac MMA is a multimodal strong anion exchange resin with ionic interaction, hydrogen bond, hydrophobic interaction. Smac MMA can remove key impurities such as DNA, host cell proteins (HCP), leached protein A, aggregates, and viruses in post-protein A purification steps. It can also be used for fine purification of other biomolecules (such as removal of dimers, polymers, host cell proteins, nucleic acids, etc.).
IexCap Smac MMA is one of a range of prepacked, ready-to-use columns for affinity chromatography. It is packed with 1 ml and 5 ml of Smac MMA. Five different packing sizes are available. IexCap Smac MMA has the standard interface and can be adapted to all kinds of chromatography system, such as ÄKTA. It is fast, simple and easy operation.
