PreCap Smac Core 700

Smac Core 700 is used for polishing purification, including viruses and other large biomolecules. Smac Core 700 is a core-shell microsphere with a neutral hydrophilic shell layer, which has no non-specific adsorption of proteins. The pore size of the shell layer is smaller than that of the core, which prevents proteins with molecular weight greater than 690kDa from entering the core, and the core is an anion-exchange-plus-hydrophobic functional layer, which can rapid capture of proteins that molecular weights less than 690kDa. The composite mode ensures high binding to most impurities over a wide range of pH and salt concentrations, and can clean in place with NaOH to removes bound impurities. Compared with conventional gel filtration, the Smac Core 700 offers more than 100 times sample volumes and has higher flow rates and productivity, making it suitable for large scale production.

PreCap Smac Core 700 is one of a range of prepacked, ready-to-use columns for affinity chromatography. It is packed with 1 ml and 5 ml of Smac Core 700. Five different packing sizes are available. PreCap Smac Core 700has the standard interface and can be adapted to all kinds of chromatography system, such as ÄKTA. It is fast, simple and easy operation.
