PreCap SmartCore 700

SmartCore 700 is aimed at intermediate purification and polishing of viruses and other large biomolecules in flow through mode. Each Bead has a ligand-activated core and an outer layer without ligands. It prevents larger targets from entering the beads, while smaller proteins and impurities bind to the hydrophobic and positively charged octylamine ligand in the core. The molecular size cut-off for proteins is approximately Mr＝690000.

PreCap SmartCore 700 is one of a range of prepacked, ready-to-use columns for affinity chromatography. It is packed with 1 ml and 5 ml of SmartCore 700. Five different packing sizes are available. HisCap 6FF has the standard interface and can be adapted to all kinds of chromatography system, such as ÄKTA. It is fast, simple and easy operation.
