Smart Streptavidin Magnetic IP/Co-IP Kit is used for immunoprecipitation (IP) and co-immunoprecipitation (Co-IP) experiments. It contains high-performance Streptavidin MagPoly Beads for fast and easy magnetic separation. The ligand of magnetic beads is a recombinant streptavidin (with a single subunit of about 14 kDa), which specifically affinities biotin-tagged antibodies. In addition, since streptavidin has no carbohydrate moiety, the non-specific background is greatly reduced.
