In November this year, Changzhou City issued the "10 Articles on Synthetic Biology" to support the high-quality development of the synthetic biology industry, accelerate the improvement of R&D and innovation levels, and seize the future growth pole. On December 6, at the site of the "Bio-microspheres and Related Core Reagents R&D and Industrialization Base" of the Boyi Biological Construction Project, Chen Jinhu, Secretary of the Changzhou Municipal Party Committee, learned in detail about the project construction progress, corporate innovation and R&D, and market prospects. He emphasized that in recent years, major technological breakthroughs have been made in the field of synthetic biology, and a new and broad track is being accelerated. All levels and departments must firmly grasp the key task of new industrialization, with a sense of urgency that time is running out, give play to Changzhou's advantages of strong industrial foundation, many young talents, and good entrepreneurial atmosphere, accelerate the expansion and strengthening of the synthetic biology industry, and show Changzhou's responsibility in the future industry cultivation and manufacturing strong province construction. It is necessary to maintain the intensity of project attraction and the intensity of tackling key issues, accelerate the improvement of the functional supporting facilities and industrial incubation capabilities of synthetic biology industrial parks, and support various parks to learn from each other and catch up and develop in a coordinated manner.
City and district leaders Hang Yong, Qiao Junjie, Yun Qicheng, Sun Yifeng, Xu Jun and park leaders Sun Yang and Wang Xiaodong attended the event.
